Al-Jalaliya


Moslems at the entry of Al-Jalaliya mosque, Ibb. It was built in 1773 by the Ottoman viceroy, Jamal ad-Din Mohammed an-Nidhari. The traditional buildings were built out of gray or pink stone of the area, whereas the post-revolutionists buildings are built with orange volcanic stone, which comes from an area located at 80 km in north.
