The Cedars


View of the circus of Ain el-Joura, close to the ski resort of the Cedars. It is a mythical place. The cedar, indeed, is the symbol of Lebanon, Lebanon several times thousand-year-old. The last representatives of what was, in old times, a vast forest are protected in a closed park. They are not very numerous (approximately 300), a dozen of them are thousand-year-old.
