Kyichu


The first temple of Kyichu was built according to the Bhutanese tradition at the 7th century by the Buddhist Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo. In 1968, Its Majesty Ashi Kesang, the Queen-Mother of Bhutan, made build the second temple joined with the first and in the same style, so that one cannot distinguish differences between the both.
