Cienfuegos - The city is twinned with Bordeaux since 1819, date on which a some character called Jean-Louis E Clouet founded, with less than 50 other colonists from Bordeaux, the town of Fernandina de Jagua, which became Cienfuegos. It counts 125 000 inhabitants today. Its bay is one of largest of Cuba, and its port one of the first sugar ports in the world. |
